I might be taking some time off as a Mets fan during the early part of this season. In-fact I am borderline irate on the neglect this roster received in the off-season.

Jason Bay will obviously fit in well with the NY Mets, if the rumors are true, he may not even pass his physical examination.

Matt Holiday's agent, Scott Boras, has stated several reasons why the NY Mets won't be able to sign Holliday during this off season.
