Mets Rumors & Updates
Omar Minaya's Latino National Team
I might be taking some time off as a Mets fan during the early part of this season. In-fact I am borderline irate on the neglect this roster received in the off-season.
And now Omar’s Latino National team is starting to come true to form with Jose, Beltran and Kelvim Escobar going on the dl to start the season. The fact we rely on these over paid, under-performing, injury prone non-clutch performer’s year in and year out is absolutely excruciating.
NY Mets Rumored to be in Ben's Sheets?
The NY Mets pitching staff going into the 2010 season isn't exactly striking fear in the hearts of opponents. Sure, we have the ace, Johan Santana, at the top of the rotation, but after that, we kinda suck.
The NY Mets rumors are swirling though, as Buster Olney from ESPN has indicated that the NY Mets' interest in Ben Sheets may be rising.

Failing already? Jason Bay, a perfect NY Met
Well the NY Mets rumors have it pegged this time. Jason Bay, appears to have agreed to a 4 year deal with the NY Mets worth about $66MM with an option for a 5th year.
Jason Bay will obviously fit in well with the NY Mets, if the rumors are true, he may not even pass his physical examination.

Mets Rumors: Jason Bay, Matt Holiday
NY Mets rumors have been swirling around Jason Bay and Matt Holiday for weeks now. Omar Minaya appears to be taking most of the month off, but the gaping hole in the Mets lineup still has not been addressed.
Matt Holiday's agent, Scott Boras, has stated several reasons why the NY Mets won't be able to sign Holliday during this off season. This actually may turn out to be a blessing in disguise however, as Matt Holiday is not the pull hitting threat that would be necessary to excel in the giant Citi Field ballpark.
