Shaky Start for the NY Mess

The 2010 NY Mets look a lot like the 2009 NY Mets - terrible.

Just 7 games into the season, and the NY Mets have found the basement of the NL East. Every ESPN Analyst on the planet predicted that the Mets would suck, but every Met fan on the planet kept that little thought in the back of their mind; "Yea we sucked last year, but everyone was hurt! imagine if they were all healthy!!"

Well yea, I had the same thought, but like every other NY Mets season it would seem, those thoughts were dashed.

Seriously: look at the Mets over the past 10 seasons...

Mets Rumor: Mets pitching for Roy Halladay

Its no secret the Mets suck right now, but rumors of the Mets trading for Roy Halladay are starting to surface.

Roy Halladay has been one of, if not the most dominating pitcher for the last 3 seasons. Averaging 230+ innings, Halladay is also a great asset to Toronto's bullpen. Roy Halladay has led the majors in complete games four times, and finished second twice.

Rotational Drama

With the Mets already improving the bullpen for the 2009 season the focus now turns to another glaring weakness...the starting rotation. Obviously 'Slowhand' Santana will be up for another Cy Young winning campaign this year, and with Mike Pelfry's emergence last season the front end looks pretty good. John Maine is in a make it or brake it year.
